Good location within easy distance of everything. Right on the river so can wake up and sit on the terrace watching the world go by. Relaxing environment.
The property itself is quite run down and old, the rooms are VERY basic, theres no frills whatsoever, no where to hang your clothes in fact the room furniture consists of the bed and a small cane bedside cabinet. We found the lack of a fridge very inconvenient with 42 deg temperatures outside and even hotter in the room. We didn't mind having no t.v. The wifi was an on and off affair, worked when it worked. Food at the place is satisfactory and keenly priced. The staff are all burmese, seem to be helpful enough. The owner is a bit of a tyrant and orders guests to move their cars so she can have exclusivity of the small covered parking area for her own car (sort of screw the guests attitude I'm more important). She needs to do a course in hospitality and hotel management. If you want a cheapie and can rough it a bit then this place fits the bill. For someone seeking just a little comfort book elsewhere because this place will disappoint.
