Not the usual kind of review because, this time, we didn't actually stay at Khaotong Terrace... They had a plumbing issue that required parts from Bangkok and, several days before our check-in, offered to arrange transfer to their affiliate Pooltara Resort. We agreed and it all turned out very well. P R is just as excellent as K T. The significant differences being: P R is inland (so no sea-view) PR has a swimming pool and freshwater khlong swimming / kayaking onsite. K T has a superb restaurant onsite (but P R, who have a more modest restaurant, can arrange free-of-charge transport there and back) The rooms are, of course, different and whilst my wife and I think K T has the edge, they only have a two person type - P T has room types suitable for from 2 to 6 people. We've stayed at K T 3 times before and look forward greatly to doing so again. Special credit to Mel at K T for alll her help on this occasion. The staff at both places really are the best you could wish for.
