Beautiful architecture and furnishings

We stayed at Devasom during its soft opening so some of the hotel perks weren’t fully available like the Kid’s Club and Spa. We were bummed out about this as we booked this hotel to use these services.
That being said, the hotel shined through its awesome staff and the architectural and decorative beauty. We stayed in the Jr. suite and it was roomy and comfortable.
The pool is a salt water pool and very large. We kayaked in the nearby river and that was a nice adventure. The beach was nice but not super clear water as we wished and there were no beach chairs or umbrellas set up on the beach. Not sure if this was another thing that was not available during the soft opening.
The drinks and cocktails were lovely and the staff was accommodating to our little daughter. The breakfast was delicious and offered many options. I hope that they can offer more options on their menu for lunch and dinner. Salads are super small and they don’t have lots of veggie options.
