Shiny and new ... rooms kind of small

i have stayed many times in the same area as the Novotel and though the hotel is shiny and new I was a bit disappointed with the room size ... with 2 twin beds pulled together and a lounger in the corner there was very little room to maneuver ... also , the TV is not on swivel so to watch you have to lie in bed ... got there around 7 pm after 4 hours on train and MRT and no hot water for shower... went ahead with cold one and filed report and they fixed problem with a few hours ... i did not eat there so cannot comment on food... the staff was well-trained and helpful ... . think I will opt for hotels with larger rooms in future
