Great Staff - Decent rooms

There were several disappointing moments at the property, including, a poor ocean view (topped up for this only to get a half obstructed view by the building in front), insects in the room, faulty A/C.
But that being said, all feedback was handled almost immediately, with the staff going extra miles to make my stay a good one. And I mean all staff from the bellboy, to housekeeping to front desk, to spa to f&b and even the assistant front office manager. Always attentive and kind, almost always apologetic. In my opinion even though the property could really use a good overhaul - I learn that Hyatt only took over this 4 years ago. The staff really did make up for it.
Room was comfortable and decently clean. Though if you're nitpicky about cleanliness, they are a little tired, some signs of paint peeling, stained tiles and glass. Thankfully sheets and bathroom were very clean.
Stay for a great overall experience, great staff to be around for a get away.
