location remote, unexpected charges

The location is too remote. Free shuttle van is seriously insufficient (only 1 trip going out per day, and you need to sign up at least 1 hour in advance). It costs 24 USD per trip for taxi to travel to downtown. I stayed there for three nights and already spent a total of 161 USD just for taxi. There were toads in the private pool in my villa. If you don't mind swimming with them, please feel free. The villa has a bbq package (costs 43 USD, for a two-people package) but the choice of food was so limited. Spending the same amount of money having food in down town would guarantee you a feast. There was also unexpected extra charges. I paid 24 USD for airport transfer on arrival. The flight was delayed and I also asked for an en route stop for supermarket grocery shopping. I wasn't notified that it costed me 9 USD extra for the transfer until at the time of checking in. The calculation of bill at the time of checking out was also a mess. Apparently they miscalculated the bill and asked me for an extra 24 USD on my way to airport after checking out. All in all, it was a disappointing holiday.

Great place to stay

Fantastic place for a family with a young toddler
