There is fire alarm at 4 am in the morning. I called staff about the alarm and they told us to stay in the room on the 6th floor. 15 min later sound continue so all customer evacuate by fire exit to ground floor. The staff did not call the police or fireman. They only call for mechanic man and mention to us that is failed alarm because they watch the cctv from the walkway on 6th and there is no smoke. In addition, staff said there might be someone smoke in their room so I told them to open all the room and check. Staff deny and refuse due to privacy of the customer. 40 min alarm still rang so that I call the police and fireman myself. Staff only waiting for mechanic man. Finally the policeman and fireman arrive and help to fix the alarm after 1 hour, the alarm stop and mechanic man have not arrive.
Seriously, the staff need safety training because they cannot manage anything.
More importantly is there is only 2 staff within hotel while there is 18 room of customer all on the 6th.
However, if there is fire alarm and don't know what happen, DO NOT tell people to stay in their room. It might be harmful for customer life and who gonna take responsibility for all customer life!!!
