Terrific location, helpful & friendly staff

After a week at The Majestic in Kuala Lumpur, this was a change of pace. Nonetheless, the grounds are lovely & the employees are terrific and great with making appointments elsewhere.You can't fault the location; if you use the back alleys, you are really minutes away from the sights and street markets. We picked the executive room for more space. If you like swimming, ask forthe deluxe rooms fronting the second pool in the deluxe building. It's quieter and more private and a little better for laps, Complimentary breakfast is adequate; they will bring more food on request. At breakfast, you overlook a lovely lotus pond. The bathroom is a little dark but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless because it was well located. Tip: Rose laundry, a 2 minute walk from the hotel, will wash & iron for 60 baht a kilo. Turn right when leaving the hotel; it's on your right hand side.
