Best Place We’ve stayed at in Thailand
We stayed at a guesthouse for two nights prior to booking with Icon Park, and then decided we wanted a different spot for our last night. So we booked and asked for early check in, and then showed up 2 hours later just before 12 for our room. When we arrived the wonderful staff told us that they actually upgraded us, but our room wouldn’t be ready for a half hour or so. Then promptly took our bags and made me a coffee.
When we got into our room, not even 30 minutes later, it was amazing. Clean, well kept and had a balcony. The staff was beyond friendly and amazing and brought our bags up for us. We then asked about laundry and they told us it would be ready the next day at 1 pm, but given that it was our last day, they gave us a late check out. The staff was beyond accommodating and wonderful. By far the most friendly people we have dealt with in Thailand, which is saying a lot.
Only downside was that we asked about a private cab to Doi Suthep at the tour representative in the lobby and were quoted 8000 baht.
Overall couldn’t recommend enough, and will definitely be booking there when I come back to Chiang Mai
