excellent, great value for money

Our stay was great! The location of the hotel is incredible - it is in the heart of Chaweng and near a multitude of bars and restaurants as well as the major shopping areas and numerous local spas as the hotel one is quite pricey in comparison. Personally, i think going out into the road and getting a massage at a local spa is much more sensible than at the hotel spa which is on the beach with minimal privacy and very overpriced. I liked "Hi-Class Spa" which is a little way down the road (Chaweng) and where i received a great (and very professional) massage for a very reasonable price. Koh Samui is a great place to party and if you want to enjoy the nightlife, this hotel is the place for you. Chaweng is very the main attractions are and this hotel is close to all the major bars and restaurants. In addition, many bars which are further away provide free shuttle from Chaweng road (just outside the hotel) such as Bar Ice (which is a great place to visit, btw). The beaches at Samui are beautiful and the one at this hotel is as well - it was clean, pristine and there were a lot of activities - we rented a jet ski right on the beach for about 30 mins and people also parasailed and rented boats, etc. The rooms are cleaned every day and we generally had no problems with hygiene. The breakfast was not incredibly extensive but it certainly had everything you would need or want - omelette station, eggs done in other ways, bacon, sausages, potatoes, bread, pastries, juice, fruit, asian option... The only drawback here is that wifi is not free and so you need to buy wifi (not too expensive but still) or go to near by bars and cafes and use their wifi (which we often did wihtout a hassle). Location rocks - i fell sick and we were so close to the pharmacy which was well equipped and where the pharmacist prescribed medicine which solved the problem quickly. We could also walk everywhere and save on transportation. I recommend taking a day trip and visiting other islands
