Tranquil oasis
We had 2 lovely short overnight stays here with both our 2 young children and my mum. The adjoining rooms we were given were perfect for the kids to go back and forth. The hotel grounds are immaculately kept gardens, pagoda, fish pond and swimming pool, kids loved exploring and spotting baby fish, felt far away from the chaos of the city. We arrived on my mum's birthday and the staff were so kind to cook us dinner despite the restaurant being closed given the occasion and our jetlag. The short opening hours of the restaurant was the only real downside (there are a good number of local Thai places out on the main busy road) as everything else about our stay was perfect. Loved the free water in recyclable glass bottles (all the more so after seeing the dreadful plastic water bottle pollution on khao lak beaches), more of this in other hotels would be amazing! Nb there is a free phone box from taxi drop off point for luggage help not mentioned in confirmation emails. Highly recommended.
