Well, I'm no longer sure what constitutes a "resort" but sadly this would fall short of the criteria by most standards, just because it's very short on guest facilities. No pool, sauna, parkland,play facilities etc.
Having said that the room was very comfortable and quiet. The "resort" is at the end of a quiet soi about a 5 minute walk to the night bazaar, 8 to the bars of Jed Yod Rd or 10 to 12 to the Saturday Walking street. There's a small car park for a maximum of five cars in front and if it's full it's a painful process to get your car out! The decor is cute and quirky, a riotous mismatch of colours in the room. The staff were friendly but English was a little limited. Would I stay here again. I'm not sure, to be honest. Right now it's high season and my mind can't help thinking in low season prices and values. I didn't think it was particularly good value at high season rates and the lack of facilities limits the "resort" to a weekend stay at most for me. I'll wait to see how the low season rates shape up compared to the opposition.
