A great place

Na Rak O Resort was a lovely place! Very colorful and clean. I'd highly recommend. We arrived later in the evening and the later check in was no problem. They had bread, eggs, tea and coffee in the morning to cook for yourself which became handy having an early morning. Nothing bad to say about the place itself, however I wouldn't recommend to book the slow boat trip (Chiang Rai to Luang Prabang) from them. The booking itself went well and the staff was very helpful with it. It might be an issue with all the tour organizers but after crossing the border to Laos (until then everything worked well and our driver was really nice) the tour organizer was doing some small scams that took the best out of the experience. So in case there is time, I'd suggest doing a bit more research who to use for the slow boat trip or then do a better background research not to fall for the scams.
