Tired looking resort with some potential

I stayed here over 7 years ago and it looks like, apart from a poor job on re-varnishing the wood, nothing else has been done to the rooms since. The rooms and resort are tired looking and in need of a refurbishment. The spare pillow in the cupboard was disgusting and probably never been washed. Over all, a lack of attention to details and poor management would explain it. The cleaners are obviously sweeping the dust under the carpet, doing a quick cleaning job in the rooms and no one seems to be checking their work. Restaurant area looks dull and lacks any effort with bored looking staff sitting watching Thai TV all day so i decided not to eat there. This place has a lot of potential. Be careful about the room windows that don't lock properly and never leave money or valuables lying around the room in any beach resort in Samui.
