Don't get on the wrong side of housekeeping staff!

The place was quite surprisingly good until the housekeeping staff decided to set us up for some bizarre reason. They put 5 shampoos and 2 conditioners in our room one day. We put them away in a drawer, and then the next day they came and rooted through our private drawers of personal things and "re-possessed" the amenities they had freely given us. For some reason, housekeeping thought we were thieves, and that gave them the right to look through our personal things inside a drawer and then take whatever they wanted. We have no idea what else they looked through. It was very difficult to get to talk to the manager, who did listen to us, and ultimately, he resolved the issue, and then we received amenities from then on. Needless to say, this was a tasteless and disgusting maneuver that soured us on the place. So as long as you "behave," you will enjoy the place. Otherwise, look at many of the other equivalent properties on Choeng Mon Beach.
