Overall, we were happy with our stay, because it was Loi Krathong and it’s on the river. You can watch the fireworks from the rooftop bar, and the building has been modernized. However, this is an old building with many original sins uncorrected. There’s no elevator (or warning to those who might need one) and the concrete steps are narrow, uneven and dangerous. Noise from the rooftop bar, including very loud blenders and water pumps, can keep you awake on the 3rd floor. Also, the riverside location is a bit far to walk anywhere, except to the ferry. This place should be priced like V-Varee, not some fancy hotel. If it was cheaper, I’d say it was a very nice Mom & Pop. Staff were super friendly.
