Needs a makeover

Location was absolutely wonderful and view exquisite but bungalow was not pleasant--showers were not clean, ants in the bungalow, wood stairs needing repair. It seems to have character but not enough love and upkeep. Staff were helpful, food at the restaurant varied from mediocre to good. Given I live in Thailand and travel alot, I have seen what the same price can get you and it is not this.

Island getaway, amazing pool
We loved our stay at Baan Laanta. There were a bit too many stairs to the beach, but the pool right in from of our villa was amazing!

Our favorite on Koh Lanta
See prior review, but this was our top pick out of several properties that we stayed on Koh Lanta. Very friendly staff, culturally unique room design and style. Great pool.
