Amazing boutique hotel
(Location)
The hotel is located in the old town, 5-10 minute walk, with a convenient walking distance and a wide range of restaurant to choose from. You can take Songteaw (pick-up taxi) which only costs 20 THB per person to go to visit Simila beach to see the signature mermaid statue.
(Art Deco & History)
No need to explain about interior design of this hotel, it's one of a kind with full of history. Songkhla Tae Raek Hotel is the first hotel built to service the main train station dated back in 1946. (I made a research before booking this hotel.) It has not disappointed me at all.
(Service)
The staffs are professional, helpful and service-oriented. During this period of Covid-19, if you would like to have a wide range of local delicacy for breakfast(Recommended for non-Thai speakers), you need to inform the concierge one day before.
(Museum-themed hotel)
The owner is a real collector of antique. You will see many old Chinese porcelain, vase and table in Paranakan style. Enjoy!
