Slippery floors!

This hotel had a huge design flaw- the floors all over the property and inside the rooms are coated with a very slippery waxy material that was just an accident waiting to happen. My children fell down several times walking with socks in our room and I almost slipped a few times myself. I could only imagine elderly people... The gentleman who runs the restaurant across the street was super nice and hospitable as were most the staff. It was very nice of them to put on a New Year's Eve dinner and celebration for the guests at the hotel. Check out was a real pain as it made us late for our taxi- they sent someone to inspect the room while we waited and gave us a hard time about one little hand towel that they couldn't locate. Then told us we owe them 150 baht for it. We did not take the towel and certainly were not going to pay for something we were falsely accused of. That was upsetting and an unfortunate end to our stay there.
