Extremely friendly, well-trained, professional staff. Good location inside the moat and near shops, restaurants and massage places. If you don't mind the dark rooms and concrete building, then the room is still very nice. The pool is small, but a nice place to sit, even in the rain, as the seating area is under cover. Excellent breakfast - a la carte, with enough Thai and western choices to keep you going for quite a long time without having to have the same thing again. I appreciated the fact that they had more or less finished cleaning the room by the time I got back from breakfast, so I didn't have to get out of their way later.
