Doesn't get a lot better than this for the money

Spacious, very clean room. About 1km from the centre of town so fairly quiet. Restaurants immediately opposite overlooking the river (but I'd recommend the Friendship restaurant almost next door on the same side of the road which was friendlier and had better food). The 'room only' breakfast is excellent with great fruit, toast and tea/coffee.
The real asset of this place though is the woman on reception. Always a huge smile and a chat. Incredibly friendly and helpful (speaks perfect english). We stayed an extra night as we liked it so much.
Good mountain bicycles for rent next door at 100 baht a day.
There was a occasionally a mild sewage smell in the bathroom but that's not unusual in this part of the world.
