Drive there first and check it out

this hotel is remote.. if traveling by car it would be better. tours charge more to pick up & drop off here. more expensive cottages are nice and there is a salt water pool but cheaper cottages have bare concrete floor and mildew smell and outdoor bath which made no sense at night with mosquitoes. you are by a remote river and hear amplified chants from a buddhist temple at dawn & eve. lonely place; we seemed the only guests at times. very good food (including german style thai sausages and great pad thai), nice landscape and flowers.

Beautiful and out of the way
Beautiful place on the river. Rooms are very big. Wish the coffee were better (not good) Very far from town.
