I would definitely come back here. But the Luxury Villas are quite a bit nicer, closer to beach, better wifi and less mosquitos than the standard or superior villas. I stayed an extra day and moved into a superior the last night. The bathroom had a lot of mosquitos as there are open air vents and these sit back much farther from the beach than the others. And the bathroom floor was a major trip hazard with different levels to divert water for drainage. Other than a couple other resorts and a beach front minimart, there's not a lot else around, which I liked. You can take a tuk tuk into town for cheap. The breakfast was decent but not great. The restaurant was okay but it seemed everything I ate there upset my stomach a little bit. The staff was friendly when you need anything and spoke good English. Also note that it is Muslim owned so they technically aren't allowed to sell alcohol but they still served beer. They have it setup to where another guy actually buys and sells the beer, so it's not a problem, you just have to pay for it in cash and cannot charge it to your room. I don't remember seeing any liquor. All in all, great place and look forward to coming back net year!
