Dissapointed

When looking for a hotel to stay with my daughter (10 yrs) after many reviews I decided to stay at the Novotel Karon Beach. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the swimming pool and slide. Unfortunately the slide was under renovation - no mention of this at time of booking. As a double wammy the slide was outside our room so we had to endure the construction noise form the renovation. The hotel also seems ill equiped for rain season. Wishing to use the poolside restaurant for the Sunday dinner proved fruitless as it was raining and had insufficient under cover seating. I did have a car which proved essential as not really anywhere within walking distance.

A wonderfull place to stay at!
