What a wonderful hotel Bambi has created. All the staff was so friendly everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived even though we arrived around 10 PM the staff was patiently waiting. Pros: room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast and lunch is wonderful, you can rent a paddleboard's and basically have the entire beach to yourself, swimming pool is nice and clean which we normally don't use at hotels but loved the pool! Cons: there's about a 10 foot drop from the edge of the boardwalk to the beach but there is a small (not official) walking path to get down to the beach with your paddle boards there is a lot of rocks, big rocks, on the shore of the beach. Dinner was a little pricey . Also it's a little bit of a ways about 20 minutes to get to Chaweng and about 10 to 15 minutes to get to Lamai via taxi which can get a little expensive after a while. So if you're looking to get downtown to these touristy places often just be prepared to pay for taxis .
