My husband and I stayed here on the first two nights of our honeymoon. Initially, we were a little underwhelmed by our executive sea view room. Everything from the stairs to the patio to the bed frame looked well worn and in need of some new paint. While these didn't impede our experience, it was definitely noticeable. HOWEVER, everything else was absolutely exceptional. Breakfast was divine, the views were stunning, the beach was always quiet and empty, and the staff were all very friendly. The free spa treatments every day were also a major plus.
The location is fine-- just know that you are going to pay quite a bit for taxis if you want to go to the more populated parts of town.
Last but not least, the manager recommended a Pad Thai place just down the road (in the small market by the big Buddha statue). It is phenomenal. We kept going back!!
This was the perfect spot to start our honeymoon.
