Pleasant place to stay in central Bangkok

We stayed in room 226 of the residence on second floor bottom rear left room. Tiny balcony with no view and noisy high-rise construction going 30m away from 8am in the morning till ~1 am, so sleep was hard to get. Property is well maintained and very clean. The staff are great and just make it happen with no fuss. our room was supposed to be 45sqm but felt like 30sqm as very tight - just bearable for 2 oldies like us. Suggest going for a larger >60sqm room as the little 1 Bedroom Suites are cramped. Pleasant surroundings with a 150m walk to the National Stadium BTS and 7/11 stores. TIP: use Tuk-Tuks as they'll drop you right to the door whereas taxis don't due to the tiny alley the hotel resides in. Will stay here again but go for a 2Bedroom to be comfortable. Price is very good we got 5 nights for US$600 which makes it good value.
