Mixed feelings but will stay here again

Check in was a breeze with the buggy taking us to the back of the hotel (where the serviced apartment/residence is located). Was impressed by the very intimate setting they offer at the residence. The security and staffs seem to recognize us (or maybe there were not at full occupancy rate during our stay). However it is a mixed feeling throughout as you read through my review.
The 1 bedroom deluxe suite is spacious, clean, fairly equipped (ironing board available upon request - but it will be good if it's already available by serviced apartment standard). Lighting cooking can be done in the hall, and we actually saved ourselves from laundry headaches with a fully functional washing machine and drying. Not to mention that there is also a balcony for you to dry your clothes (if you prefer it that way) and yes, if you're a smoker like myself - Just make sure you got your own ashtrays (or soda cans). Big fridge, ample drinking water, walk in shower, bath tub with blue ambient lighting (think romance), thin bristle toothbrushes are definitely some of the things that thrilled us.
No views in our room but we had the highest floor on 7th that overlooks the pool - quite spectacular by day and night. Had the chance to use the pool during the day but a pity that the morning sun wasn't able to shine through. Otherwise I'd suspect a more crowded pool area.
Toiletries provided were of those mounted onto wall - 1 bath gel + 1 conditioner shampoo, which felt disappointing as it definitely gives a more motel/hostel stay. Bedroom slippers were ugly, reusable types. Housekeeping missed emptying or thrash by the basin in the hall twice. But overall cleanliness is up to standard. These should be something the management could look into improving. It gives a budget feel - if you know what I'm saying.
Nevertheless, I'll most likely return to this premise again. Love the "homely" feel and close proximity to major shopping areas like MBK and SIAM.
