The place is good overall, but a number of things need to be improved by the management.
Pros: staff is great; good beach without stones; quiet territory; diverse breakfast.
Cons (improvements to be done to become great hotel):
1. nobody cleans water in the sea and it is often impossible to swim at all with the need to go to other beaches. Buy a small boat and spend 30 minutes to do that!!!
2. Restaurant is terrible (besides breakfast). The food is not tasty and it is a shame for Thailand. Hire a good chef and it will payoff as there are not many good places to eat in Lamai (unlike in Chaweng).
3. The hotel massage is bad. The quality is far worse than is massage salons nearby. Get quality and motivated personnel and ask each client to rate.
4. It is ridiculous to be charged 20 TBH for printing 1 page boarding pass after you paid this hotel 80,000 TBH. Just crazy and shameful.
