Good but not excellent
The hotel itself is very clean modern and comfortable. Deluxe rooms are spacious with good showers and air con. Pool is lovely with ability to get a bed each day. However, the hotel is a good 15 min walk from main pier which is a test when walking with huge suitcases in sweltering heat. I emailed ahead to ask a hotel representative to meet us and they did not. You have to pay 1000 baht key deposit on arrival. Don't bother paying the extra for breakfast it is very poor. You can get much better for cheaper in town. Something we found odd is that the hotel seems to provide lunch for huge your groups everyday who then come to the pool for a few hours and it suddenly gets busy (with lots of Russians). The main problem we had with the hotel was the staff - our toilet blocked twice during our 6 day stay. Both times the dirty toilet water flowing over the toilet bowl flooding the bathroom floor. Staff thought it was funny when we ran to ask for help and it took them at least 20 mins before someone came to plunge it and they didn't even clean the dirty floor for us - had to do it ourselves. Also water and electricity went off numerous times for hours at a time during stay.
