dirty pool, poor staff, far from beach. nice room
the gypsy sea view resort was not a resort at all. far from the beach, no room service(the kitchen closes at 4pm) no dinner for you! the pool was disgusting. the water was murky, there was a slimy substance on the inside walls of the pool. the staff were so bad. they just sat there and watched us struggle with our bags. my husband spoke up and said" please stay there and don't help, no need to do your job!". they just looked at us. no one met us at the ferry, we asked around how to get to the hotel and found it ok our selves. there are local people living right next to it, which is fine with me but they have a mini farm and a cock crows all the time. lol way to over priced. the "breakfast" was bad, really bad. i would not stay here again. ever. don't do it. no way. we went during feb which is chinese new year a very busy time so everything was booked up. look around. oh and the beach was not nice. too polluted, coulnd't see your own feet. maya beach is beautiful , take a taxi and go there for the day. ok i'm done!
