Good value for easy access to the beach, quiet pleasant setting, good quality huts, hot shower, average WiFi.
The entrance and garden facing onto the stony lane, it's another 300m+ to the small beach, then over (walkable) rocks and a stream (dry at low tide, waist level water at high tide) before reaching Long Beach proper which is not completely covered at high tide; however, the soft sand at any time but low tide makes this a very hard walk.
Comfortable bed, but unsealed cottage allows in mosquitoes and small animals, water pressure was fair to good, hammock on every balcony was excellent and well used. WiFi was average (slow, intermittent, sometimes out for hours) but breakfast at Mook provides their fibre WiFi as an option. Cellphone coverage was good (all along the beach) and data was consistently good.
With very few huts right on the beach (despite their advertising), Lanta Marina Resort perhaps the best choice but far more expensive, Angel is a solid option.
