A must try! Definitely! Read on!
It was amazing! First off, when I arrived, they allowed me to check in really early. The usual check-in was at 1pm but they gave me a room at 9:30am when I arrived. I asked for a smoking room but they didn't have it, but their rooms had balconies so not an issue. It had an amazing gym, which I actually didn't use but had a look at it. The wet floors (jacuzzi, sauna and steam) we nice and huge.
Got a studio premier room which was really good for groups. Had people come over and they were as amazed as I am.
Staff were very attentive with our needs.
It has a very nice pub downstairs. Not very crowded but served a nice variety of beer.. Not to mention, pretty cheap.
Check out was fast but the main thing was their extra service.
I left my phone charger in the room. I remembered that I did when I was in the airport. Luckily, my brother was still in his other on the other end the street, which was Eastin Grand Hotel. I called the front desk, told my problem, and they gladly got my charger from the room and delivered it to my brother's hotel. They were really nice about it and I've never expected that. The next time I'll be in Bangkok, I'll be back in Ascott.
