Great little boutique hotel

The Golden Bell Is a great little boutique hotel with a great location. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, pointing out all the local sights and markets. The rooms were clean and well kept. I’ve heard some complain that the beds are hard but for C$58 a night I was not expecting a Sealy posturpedic mattress, you know?
The pool is small but shaded and quaint. The restaurant is good - fresh made omelettes and noodles soup with breakfast as well as lots of other choices.
The location is perfect, right down the alley from the Chiang Mai Gate and food market. So many delicious food options there - make sure you try the banana crepes! About 15 min walk from the Night Bazaar or 80 Bhat Tuk Tuk tide. Lots of tourist trinkets there.
We did the Elephant Rescue Park excursion - just lovely. The wifi was a bit spotty but would definitely stay again.

Clean, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, lots of options for tours and days out.
