Would definitely come again

We booked the private room at I krabi hostel for 3 nights and had high hopes for it because of all the reviews it had. We definitely were not disappointed.
We took a shuttle bus from the airport to the hostel, the shuttle bus company knew where I Krabi was and took us directly to the hostel. The hostel didnt have any facilities like a hotel although we didnt need to use any because we had already booked all our tours in advance. They do provide a lot of tour brochures on a side table that you can look at if you hadn't booked everything online. Our tour companies knew where the hostel was so arranging pickups were easy. The hostel also has a shuttle bus service list for going back to the airport which was extremely helpful and easy. We arrived at the airport at least one and a half hour ahead of our departure time.
What I liked most about the hostel was that every day when we went out they would clean the room and change everything for us including the bed sheets, bottled water, towels and shampoo/bath gel. Everytime we returned from our tours we would enter a clean room. The breakfast everyday was a huge bonus even though most of the time we didnt have time to eat it because we were so busy. There was a huge variety that can be compared to a 4/5 star hotel. The service was great, we had many questions and they would always try to answer or help us. We asked for adapters and a hairdryer from the reception and were given it immediately.
The only downside for the hostel was its location which is at least a 5 minute walk to the main road and another 5 minute walk to the beach. Then again it could be a plus as it is very quiet in and outside of the hostel.
I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking to stay at ao nang who isn't looking for a resort but just a place to stay and relax.
