Clean, value for money, good location
Booked the deluxe family room for 3 people and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the room was much bigger than expected. There were actually 2 connected rooms: one main room with a king sized bed and a separate bedroom with 2 single beds. I stayed on the second floor with a balcony that opened up to a great view. Air-conditioning worked great and the water heater was quick to heat up. The room looked clean, new and spacious. Security wise, there is a safe to lock valuables in each room, and the main door to the building requires an access card to be unlocked at night.
The breakfast buffet was a simple but hearty affair, with toast, eggs, sausages, fruits, cereal and drinks. For the price you pay, there really isn't much to complain about. The staff were friendly and attentive.
In terms of location, the hotel is near to both Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara beaches and their respective main shopping streets (around 10 minutes by foot). There are many tour providers, food outlets, and convenience stores nearby. Near enough to everything you need, yet far enough from the busy streets for peace and quiet at night.
The airport taxi from the airport to the hotel costed us 800Baht, but only 500Baht from the hotel to the airport when you book with the hotel. For tour packages, I would recommend booking with the tour operators along the Ao Nang main street for cheaper deals. Remember to bargain!
Overall, a very satisfying stay, great for those who do not need resort facilities and just want a comfortable, safe, clean place to rest at night. Highly recommended!
