Extremely Disappointing Stay

We booked and paid for the Honeymoon Suite (with a private pool) but was given the Family Suite with no upfront notification until we were inside the room and realized there was no private pool. The hotel did not inform us on this or take any initiative to reach out to us for refunds on the price difference as the Honeymoon Suite which we paid for was more expensive than the Family Suite that was given to us until we called them upon reaching our room.
2.The hotel promised to transfer us to the Honeymoon Suite on the last night of our stay. The manager mentioned that she has already booked the Honeymoon Suite for us and hence we have packed and prepared for room transfer for the last night. To our disappointment, the hotel mentioned that the family staying in the Honeymoon Suite has decided to extend their stay and hence they would like to shift us to another hotel that is much further away.
The hotel offered to provide us with "compensation" such as free massage and dinner for the discomfort we have experienced but later went back on their words by saying that the cost of the massage and dinner is the price difference of the Honeymoon Suite and Family Suite and hence will not refund us with the price difference. This is not compensation to us and through much communication, they eventually provided us with compensation on top of our refund. This is ridiculous customer service to us.
The poor communication by the hotel has brought lots of discomfort to us during our stay as we were looking forward to enjoying our time at the hotel with a private pool. Furthermore, the hotel has not been keeping their promises to us for what we have paid and the hotel does not appear to be credible to us.
