A great get away in a quaint boutique hotel!
This was my first time to stay at the Chalaroste Lanta Resort. The reviews on Agoda encouraged me to check it out and I'm not disappointed that I did. The biggest thing that impressed me was the personal attention given to guests by the resort's family run management. Mae and her husband Tae were quite visible and extremely attentive to the needs of the guests. I cannot thank them enough for their care and concern for my time there! The villas were roomy and clean. The breakfast was freshly prepared to order every day. There is a slight issue with odor coming from the bathroom drain but, from my experience, this seems to be par for the course at every venue I've used before in Lanta. The cleaning staff did place a folded towel over the drain and this helped quite a bit. The only disappointment I had was that there were no foreign language channels on the TV. But with a pretty good wifi network that was easily worked around.
Thanks again to Mae, Tae and the housecleaning staff for their great care and concern. Oh, and I almost forgot, thanks to Latte also! :)
