Clean, peaceful and relaxing
We spent 10 nights in Baan Thai Lanta resort and loved every minute. The staff were excellent (a big shout for Baitang, who was so friendly and helpful), the food was great, especially when you could ask them to serve it to your balcony. We had the beachfront ocean view villa, which I would recommend. It was very hot during the latter part of April and you got the sea breeze in this bungalow. Further back bungalows didn't get this luxury and I would image sitting on your balcony would have been quite stifling some evenings. The gardens took my breath away. They are meticulously maintained but with a sense of humour! I can't recommend this hotel enough. The pool isn't huge but there is the Andaman sea about 20 yards away, so that should be big enough for most people! ;). It was very quiet when we were there but that was what we wanted. The low season had started but we were told it is much busier, earlier on in the season. I'd stay here again, and i don't often say that about a hotel.
