Booked this place as they got very good review. Checked in there at 23:30 then the receptionist (which was very nice) took us to the room and left us this big bottle of insect spray. There were quite a lot of mosquitos but the worst thing is we saw 3 huge roaches in the room! (Maybe that’s why she left us the spray!) however, we wanted to leave ASAP but the staff moved us to family room coz the room type we booked was full. The room we were moved in was a bit further than the roaches room. Still we decided not to stay for another night and contacted agoda told them what happened and we would like to refund our second night. We check out before 8am next day and talked to the receptionist who seemed to understand the situation but then she got in the afternoon said the marketing team said they can’t refund us regarding to the policy! So, we had to send agoda the VDO of the roaches running around the room! Finally agoda helped push for a refund.
