The shower didn't work. The room and the bathroom were not clean, as well as the sheets.

We are teachers and we travel with two 5 year old children for 3 months in South East Asia. In all this time we had never had such a bad experience in any accommodation. We had booked a triple room with a kitchen at the Lanta Maikeaw and on arrival we were given a much smaller, dirty bungalow with cracks where all sorts of bugs could get in. The owner had a booking message with confirmation of the most basic bungalow. We had a confirmation from Agoda with the upper bungalow. But what was really disappointing was the owner's attitude. She completely ignored the problem, as the triple room was occupied by another family. We proposed her to change the second night to a superior room and also compensate for the night we would spend in the more basic bungalow. She replied that she was sleeping and that we could but pay much more. Pitiful. Right in front of us and on the same road there are new, air-conditioned, clean bungalows for the same price or a little more. Obviously we didn't spend
