The actual room I was given was, in a word: OLD. The decor was outdated, as was the entire bathroom. The fixtures need updating and from the squeals coming from the neighboring room's plumbing - I would say the plumbing needs updating as well. The cigarrette burns on the carpet and furniture made the place seem more like a "short time" hotel. I would say the maid staff could spend a bit more time when cleaning the rooms. Or, maybe it was her hair on the bathroom floor and in the drains?? The walk in rates for this hotel are quite overpriced. I was happy I was able to book my room through Agoda - otherwise I would have felt ripped off after viewing what the standard rates are.
