Very nice guesthouse, friendly staff and comfortable rooms
I really liked the Sea Breeze Guesthouse, the rooms are clean and the one I stayed in had a view of the sea and beach, which was brilliant to watch the sunrise. In fact, the Sea Breeze is right on the sea front, simply get up in the morning, eat breakfast and step out onto the beach in the morning. The location is very quiet and is really in a small village between Cha Am and Hua Hin, so it might be convenient to have your own transport or you may find you are spending a lot on taxis. The beach front is haveing a lot of work building up sea defences at the moment, but it is easy to still walk along the beach and find a nice little spot. The Staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful, it was almost like staying with friends. I enjoyed the breakfasts and morning coffee sitting in the open area, overlooking the sea. The little village has some places to eat ranging from Thai to European food, and a few bars and massage shops, and the inevitable but convenient 7eleven. Everyone in the village is friendly and I would often just stop and pass the time of day chatting, but it's very quiet and relaxing in the evenings. I would consider staying here again and I would recommend Sea Breeze Guesthouse to my friends or anyone looking for a relaxing few days break. Just be aware that you may need to use taxis occasionally or hire a motor-bike for a few days if you don't have transport of your own.
