My stay was fantastic. I paid 480 baht/night, definite value for the money. There was a 200 baht deposit upon check-in and it was given back upon check-out. The staff were friendly, the hotel is private and the location is quiet with the occasional sound of a train.
The location is quiet because it's (relative to the main sights of Lopburi) remote. A bicycle is required and, during my stay, could be rented at the hotel for 60 baht/day. A bicycle is more than enough to traverse the main sights of Lopburi.
If you're adventurous you can see all of the main attractions as well as the military museums by bicycle in one day. The trips between the main attractions and any military museum are long, during a hot day rest stops will be required. I had a pleasant rest at Peter Coffee on my way to a military museum.
A taxi from this hotel to the train station cost, at the time of my stay, 60 baht. Walking would take 30 minutes.
