...And now for something completely different

This is a very unusual hotel that is (successfully) striving to offer something different with its minimalist use of colour (it's black and white everywhere), simplicity being the driving force behind every guest's stay. The rooms are comfortable, functional and elegant. Everything seems to have a purpose, and the free use of (good) bikes is a definite plus. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was heavily and unnecessarily meat-oriented (not typically for Thai hotel breakfasts), but after speaking with the staff (and owner) this is hopefully an issue they will address so that there is more of a balanced offering on their breakfast spread. Absolutely wonderful location, and the staff were very helpful in arranging an early morning rickshaw to the airport ahead of time. Wonderful level of customer service, and a breath of fresh air in the hotel scene of a city that already has some great places to stay - this one is memorably and positively different.
