Excellent property right on the beach

the room is very modern with good tech amenities (can hook-up ipod to TV speakers, free internet on a Mac, etc.) Bathroom amenities don't live-up to the high standards, but that was of little consequence. Would have appreciated clean towels at turn-down service, and even when we asked for them, we didn't get them. They also kept forgetting to replace our daily supply of complimentary waters. The staff was super friendly, but very few spoke English well enough to assist us -- unless we wrote something down and they searched it on the internet. Breakfast was outstanding and generous (worth getting it included in your room)! Cocktails were shockingly poor: a "frozen margarita" came out in a martini glass with ice cubes. Huh? So, even though staff wasn't on the top of their game, the hotel is worth it for the serenity and location (assuming you want to have direct beach access and a clean and modern room to go to at night).
