Overrated and outdated resort
After staying in 6 other resorts during our stay we have to say this was the worst. The superior villa was a negative shock after opening the front door first time. The roofs are leaking (staff knows), all outdoors “leakes a lot” letting lot of Unwanted “pets” inside the room. ( cockroach and small lizards). AC is noisy and the first time on the trip it was causing small flu when we woke up. Terrace fence poles are destroyed by termites..First dinner at restaurant wasn’t very romantic experience, my wife’s order was delivered 3 separate time before the dish was what she ordered. Naturally others we already eaten by then. So called “fishing” trip is not what it says and it’ll cost almost 4000thb for each. Ok for children but not for adults. The main (only) pool is crowded with kids so it’s not a place for couples sunbathing etc. I had long talk with the main manager here, she knows that facilities are in terrible condition and renovations are coming in future. This place was quickly fixed after tsunami and left there +10years ago. If someone wants to pay lot of money for this and likes it, they most likely enjoys that, but for us, we expected that international level Hotel would have international level standard at least for the accommodation. We were suppose to stay here 4 nights but we are getting out here after 1st night. I hope agoda will show this review to help others to rethink the unreal pictures once more before booking.
