Stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights) to celebrate birthdays of my wife and daughter. Staff was absolutely wonderful and tried to make sure we had the best experience despite the rainy weather.: birthday card and gift, birthday cake, creating extra vegetarian options for my daughter, and helping to rearrange our travel back when our scheduled flight was cancelled. The room with private pool is great, big enough to stay in comfortably in the rainy hours, and with nice touches. The open sky shower and bathtub are very nice although it can take a while for the water to heat up. The cottage is sea view, and most of the time we had the sliding doors open, creating a wonderful sea breeze through the room. The best facility of this hotel is the beach, probably the best one I have been to in Thailand. Very nice white sand stretching a good 150 meters, with big shade trees right on the beach. Excellent for sunsets! The hotel does a good job of keeping the surroundings pristine.
