Nice hotel, great location

my wife, six year old daughter and i stayed at laguna holiday club phuket resort for the phuket marathon. we had a suite with bedroom for us and a sofa bed in the main room for our daughter, plen of space for all of us. the suite has cooking facilities and a fridge so good if you want to self cater. the hotel is a short walk from the shops and restaurants at canal village and it's not far to walk over to the beach, or take the free shuttle bus. the water taxis around the lagoons are fun too. the pool has a water slide and the hotel restaurant has a reasonable choice of thai and other dishes
