Home Away From Home
I arrived at noon and was welcomed by Pa, she let me check in earlier as my bed was ready. The hostel is easy to find and safe to walk to day/night, only 3 blocks away from BTS Ari (perfect for female solo travelers).
The place itself is amazing, cozy and clean, it was built by reusing shipping containers, all surrounding a large patio and a bar. There is also a lovely common area for watching movies, reading, working, etc.
They provide shampoo & body soap at the showers, and there is a washing machine and dryer you can use for 50B (including detergent, softener and stain remover). The beds are really really comfortable, the rooms have A/C and are cleaned every day.
I was there for 7 nights, and was very sick for 2 of them... They went to buy my medicine, gave me warm soy milk and fruits because they knew I was vegan, and made me many honey lemon teas, all of this without me asking!
There aren't enough words to describe the 2 owners Som & Som and their staff, they will become your Thai-family if you let them.
This hostel really is something else, and so are the people who work in it. It's an oasis in the middle of hectic Bangkok, it's home away from home.
I'll definitely be back :)
